Who is Zehra Belevi?
Zehra BELEVİ, the first graduate of M.S.Ü. State Conservatory's Opera and Musical Department. She graduated at the top of her class. After her musical studies in London, she taught "Musical Vocal Training and Stage Lessons" at T.C. M.E.B. Pera Fine Arts. After two terms as a vocal instructor at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center, she taught Vocal Training at Istanbul University State Conservatory's Musical Department. She founded the Children's Choir at Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Cultural A.Ş. and served as its choir conductor for many years. She worked with Hümeyra, Farah Zeynep Abdullah in the film "Unutursam Fısılda" and again with Farah Zeynep Abdullah in the TV series "Gülizar." She provided vocal training to Nesrin Cavadzade in the film "Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever." She has taught vocal lessons to many artists including Ajda Pekkan, Melihat Gülses, Hüseyin Turan, Şükriye Tutkun, Asena, Uğur Arslan, and Zeynep Özyılmazel. Currently, she continues to work on projects with her students in Istanbul and serves as the music director for many albums created by her students.
The event will be held via Zoom. Capacity is limited. A study group will be formed with Zehra Hoca's preliminary assessment.
