Our Political Science and International Relations PhD '22 graduate Dr. Tüba Yeşilkaya's book, The Cyprus Question Within The Axis Of Energy Politics In The East Mediterranean, was released in March.
The book, which is a compilation of her doctoral thesis, examines the Cyprus issue from the 19th century to the historical perspective of the transitional period of the 20th century (1919-1940), as well as the events and developments in the international arena during and after the Cold War, based on the structural environment of power balances. It was published by Cinius Publishing.

Dr. Tüba Yeşilkaya is a multidisciplinary academic specializing in Turkish politics, global politics, and international relations. Her research focuses on energy discoveries in the Eastern Mediterranean and their impact on the Cyprus issue. Her background and work experience in private companies and family businesses have provided her with perspectives on political, financial, and economic matters. The book, which represents one of the first sources written in English on this topic, is a refined version of her doctoral thesis. Additionally, she has a paper on hydropolitics presented at the ISA Miami conference in 2005.
