Our 2005 Business graduate Göksemin Gökalp Özdemir's book continues to be a source that makes
an impact. The book 'Dijitalin Kitabı mı Olur?' (Can There Be a Book on Digital?) was recently
reviewed by the Harvard Business Review Turkey. Harvard Business Review stated 'The existence of
digital media as a field of exploration for the discovery of a new world, the growth of new ideas, is
one of the fastest ways to globalize, turning every individual into both a producer and a consumer.
So, are there rules for being a producer? Can there be a book on it?' Perhaps in such an boundless
sphere, there are no rules, but there could be various strategies based on the emotions and
motivations of consumers, strategies that can evolve over time. Written by Göksemin Gökalp
Özdemir, 'Dijitalin Kitabı mı Olur?' (Can There Be a Book on Digital?) might change with time, yet it
holds the potential to help us comprehend the producers and consumers of the digital world,
potentially becoming a bedside book for those interested in the digital domain.
Our graduate's book has been nominated in the 'Year's Inspiring Business Book' category at the
Platinum Business Book Awards.

Göksemin Gökalp Özdemir organized a book signing event on Sunday, October 29, 2023, during the
40th International Istanbul Book Fair, at the Elma Publishing House, marking the 100th anniversary of
our Republic.
