Founded under the leadership of Artistic Director and horn player Hakan Ateş, the Cinema Symphony Orchestra holds the distinction of being Europe's and Turkey's first professional pop symphonic orchestra. The orchestra interprets local and foreign film scores, musicals, and popular works in its own unique symphonic style, reaching wide audiences both domestically and internationally.

Performing the music of unforgettable productions such as Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings in the “Zorlu PSM Movies Concert” series, the orchestra has shared the stage with many star names to date, including Zuhal Olcay, Halit Ergenç, Emma Shapplin, Sertab Erener, Hayko Cepkin, Manga, and Karsu.
