Classical Music Concert Golden Horn Brass

The Golden Horn Brass (GHB) ensemble, which was founded in 2004 by Begüm Gökmen and has managed to continue its activities uninterruptedly until today, is the longest-running brass quintet in Turkey and was awarded the “First Prize” in the “Chamber Music Ensemble of the Year” category at the Donizetti Classical Music Awards in 2014. The ensemble, which is the most prominent representative of our country in this field, successfully represents our country in prestigious organizations abroad as well as in numerous concerts in Turkey. The ensemble, whose members are each master musicians in their own fields, experienced orchestra members and educators in addition to being soloists, consists of Begüm Gökmen on the horn, Julian Lupu and Renato Lupu on the trumpets, Emre Berbergil on the trombone and Sinan Şirin on the tuba.
