"The 'IZ Career'24 Training, organized in collaboration with the Leadership and Entrepreneurship Club by the Career Development and Alumni Relations Office, will take place on May 8, 2024.

Our guest speaker will be Tankut Mülayimsi, a 2003 graduate of the Interior Architecture Department, who is currently serving as the Area Marketing Business Development Director at YTU Technopark. The topic of discussion will be: 'Does the Entrepreneur Spark the Venture, or the Venture Forge the Entrepreneur?'"

Bio:

Born in 1979 in Istanbul.

Graduated from Yeditepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Interior Architecture in 2003.

Completed L.A. Preston Ex.MBa.

Began professional career in 2004 with commercial building projects, then shifted focus entirely to office and office design following tenure at Nurus Inc. in 2008.

With over 15 years of experience in office design and furniture, provided consultancy to multinational companies during the pandemic on working from home and ergonomic conditions. Played an active role in advising firms on the transition to remote work, shared office space planning, and managing processes as the pandemic ended.

Started developing projects on coworking spaces and the entrepreneurship ecosystem in 2022. Currently serving as the "Area Marketing and Business Development Director" at YTU YILDIZ TECHNOPARK INC.

Co-founder of the PODA application and has been involved in managing early-stage mentoring processes for ventures such as Homster, Aleflet, OTTAN, Firewatch in programs by entrepreneurship ecosystem stakeholders like Hackquarter and İş Bankası.
