Global Careers in the Pharmaceutical Industry

Our webinar, taking place on February 13 at 1:00 PM, will discuss global career opportunities and international work experiences in the pharmaceutical industry.

Our speaker, Dr. Didem Torumkuney, completed her undergraduate education in the Department of Medical Biological Sciences at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and her master's degree in Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. She completed her doctoral education in Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, and then continued her postdoctoral studies at UKHSA. For approximately 19 years, she has worked as a clinical microbiologist in the Global Medical Affairs and R&D teams at the GSK Head Office in London. In addition to her career journey spanning from academia to the global pharmaceutical industry, she supports young people by mentoring them in the volunteer solidarity community called Birlikte Bir.İz.
