You are invited to the Quartetto Turco concert, which will take place at the historic Splendid Palace Hotel, one of the iconic landmarks of Büyükada. Known for its elegance, architecture, and breathtaking views, this unique venue offers the perfect setting for a special musical journey. Led by Münif Akalın, these master cellists will take us on an extraordinary journey from the Baroque period to the present day. A day filled with music and the charm of the island awaits us.

QUARTETTO TURCO

Quartetto Turco was founded with the aim of bringing the cello’s tone—so close to the human voice—to wider audiences through a rich repertoire spanning from the Baroque period to the present day. With their performances, these master virtuosos invite listeners on a timeless musical journey.Led by one of the country’s distinguished and exceptional cellists, Münif Akalın, the quartet also features renowned virtuosos of their instrument: Julya Krepak, Emirhan Serin, and Pirsu Kesici, each standing out with their unique musical interpretations.With a broad repertoire extending from the elegant touches of the Baroque era to contemporary works, melodies that have flowed through time come to life once again through the masterful bows of Quartetto Turco, offering audiences a truly unique spring concert experience.
