As part of the İZ Career'23 program, the book by our 2005 Business Administration alumnus Göksemin Gökalp Özdemir continues to be a significant resource. The signature day for his book "Dijitalin Kitabı mı Olur?" took place in front of the Üzeyir Garih Hall, just before the "New Generation Marketing in a Digital World" alumni panel.

Göksemin Gökalp Özdemir was born in Elazığ in 1984. He spent part of his childhood in Texas and completed his school life at seven different schools due to his father's profession.

At 17, he began his studies at Yeditepe University, where he first encountered the world of brand and marketing that he had always dreamed of. After completing his business education, he started working at TNT Express. Following his MBA, he worked as a brand manager for notable brands such as Calvin Klein, Swatch, G-Star Raw, and Vakko.

In 2015, he established his own business and began offering consultancy in brand management and digital strategies to entrepreneurs and corporate firms managing their brands with an entrepreneurial spirit. He has been involved in the growth processes of hundreds of startups.

He mentors in entrepreneurial programs such as Google Launchpad, Google Developers Group, İş Bankası Workup, Hackquarters, WeWork Labs, Seedstars, and Startupbootcamp. He represents Turkey as a jury member and mentor in over 20 countries. He also teaches and speaks about "Branding in the Digital World" and "Entrepreneurship and Brand Strategies" at top universities and companies in Turkey. His book "Dijitalin Kitabı mı Olur?" was released in 2022 and entered the bestsellers list in the same week it was published.
