Graduate Handbook

Our University, which continues the Atatürk Renaissance, was established in 1996. Therefore, it has been continuing to graduate since the very beginning of the 2000s. We continue to be proud of our graduates who continue their business life and academic life for generations.

The Yeditepe Family spirit, which started with the studentship of our graduates, who are preferred by institutions and continue to work all over the world, continues.

Our aims are to increase the communication of the Yeditepe University community, to increase the development of our graduates and students, and to continue to support them in their path to become preferred employees, employers, scientists and entrepreneurs.

It is among our goals to increase solidarity through networking in the studies/events we carry out in cooperation with YUMED.

Thanks to the successful career journeys and stances of our graduates, our new graduates and students continue to receive education with increasing quality. In this way, our incoming student profile will be able to make a difference in their studies by evaluating the education they will receive.

Your career journey after graduation and your contact details are constantly updated by the Alumni Relations Office. Thanks to your up-to-date information, solidarity between alumni, graduates and students increases, as well as our success in national and international indices.

In this system, where it is possible to easily create a membership registration with the LinkedIn address, it is possible to maintain the currency of user data by performing automatic synchronisation with LinkedIn data. It is also possible to easily download the mobile application of the platform from Google Play and Apple Store.

Services for Graduates;

  • Campus Utilisation;
  • If you notify them in advance, your information will be sent to the entrance doors by our lecturers or office staff.
  • You can enter the campus by getting confirmation from the lecturers or office staff you have come to visit by phone from the security personnel at the gates.
  • When you arrive for your applications for master's and doctoral studies, our security team will contact the relevant offices, share your information and provide you with access.
  • When you come to the Continuing Education Centre (SEM) for training applications, our security team will contact the relevant offices, share your information and provide you with access.
  • For the use of the Information Centre, you can fill out the 'External User Form' on the Yeditepe University-Information Centre web page 1 day before you come to the campus. You will be directed to use the Information Centre based on this form at the campus entrance.  You can also access the electronic resources of the Information Centre while on campus.
  • Alumni who are members of YUMED can enter the campus by showing their ID cards.

 

  • Career Support;

Our graduates can continue to receive online or face-to-face support from the Career Development and Alumni Communication Directorate for CV preparation and Career Coaching.

You can follow job adverts from Yeditepe Network Platform and request career support from career@yeditepe.edu.tr e-mail address.

We have joint studies with career support from our graduates to our students. You can share your experiences as a panellist, employer, mentor, and evaluate our successful students and graduates in the companies where you work.

  • Alumni events are announced through Yeditepe Network and Career Development and Alumni Engagement social media accounts. It is important that your information is up-to-date in our systems for our communications in such events.

Featured alumni events;

  • YU Reunion; Our alumni can come to the campus every year on the week of 26 August. You can apply for this event when the announcements start. You can experience the campus with your spouse, friend and child and stay in the dormitory.
  • Istanbul alumni events; You can participate in events such as breakfast, dinner, cocktails, which are faculty, programme-based or covering all graduates.
  • Alumni Dinners outside Istanbul; Gaziantep, Bursa, Izmir, Hatay, Adana; Balıkesir, Eskişehir, Ankara, Edirne, Bodrum, Antalya, Balıkesir, Eskişehir, Ankara, Edirne, Bodrum, Antalya and many other provinces and districts, you can come to Yeditepe University Alumni Dinners and share your memories and good news with the participation of our academicians.
  • You can fulfil your longing for the campus with concerts for alumni and participation in the Yeditepe Spring Festival and sing along with the students.

As a member of the Yeditepe Network Platform, you can share what you want to publish. You can share the job/internship announcements of the institution you work or own. What you write in the 'message' section on the platform will directly reach the employees of the Career Development and Alumni Communication Directorate.

  • I want to give scholarship support to students.

You can support our students with food scholarships, dormitory scholarships and tuition scholarships. You can send an e-mail to alumni@yeditepe.edu.tr regarding the subject.

  • I want to give career support to students.

You can send your requests to our mail addresses to support our students in their education life, to share your expertise such as panelist, speaker, mentor, career workshop application.
