Our 2016 Industrial and Systems Engineering graduate, Begüm Alıcı, has become a ‘One Young World Ambassador’.

One Young World Conferences are organized to bring together young leaders from around the world and encourage them to develop solutions to social, economic, and environmental issues. A "One Young World Ambassador" is a young leader selected or who has participated in these conferences, known for running social impact projects that work to create change in their own countries or globally.

Begüm Alıcı became a One Young World Ambassador by participating in the Manchester Summit in September 2022 and the Belfast Summit in October 2023, sponsored by Nestlé Turkey. In 2022, she was also chosen as a representative, carrying our flag on stage and representing all of Turkey.

We congratulate our graduate and all the team members she worked with on her projects.
