Our dear graduate Eda Tunç, who has completed her graduate degree in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts in 2019, won the prize for the first place by reinterpreting baklava with New Zealand ingredients at the 5th Australasia Tapas Competition. She once again highlighted the importance of the unity of culture and food science in the gastronomy education. We thank Chef Jasbir Kaur for making the competition possible. As the seventh World Tapas Competition approaches in November, we extend our best wishes to our beloved graduate, Eda.
