Our Graduates Received Success Awards at YuniYEAR

a

Our traditional Academic Awards Ceremony, 'YuniYEAR' was held for the eleventh time.

In her opening speech, Our Rector Prof. Dr. Canan AYKUT BİNGÖL said: 'Amid the challenges of the year 2023, the Yeditepe University family, as always, strived to achieve our goals with great solidarity, understanding, and collective wisdom. Let us not forget that what provided us this was our unity effort. The unity and solidarity will once again be what propels us into the future. While grappling with the difficulties of the past year, we worked to improve the quality of education. We incorporated new teaching methods into our education system. We worked hard to add new accreditations to our university and indeed added them. New laboratories were established, and our research continued to grow. Our publications and funds increased. With projects we conducted with our students, we received many national and international awards. In addition, our university hosted significant meetings. We hosted leading scientists in our field nationally and
internationally. Through speeches at international conferences, we saw that we effectively represented our university not only within our country but also internationally.

We have a beautiful memory from 2023: Our Founding President, Mr. Bedrettin Dalan, received an honorary doctorate from his alma mater, Istanbul Technical University. We were very proud of him and stood by his side.'Our Rector's New Year message was also meaningful: 'Let's enter the new year with an aim, unity and an unwavering belief in the transformative power of knowledge. I wish for a year full of discovery, success, and hope for each of us'

In the year 2023, 25 of our academicians earned the title of Professor. The academicians received their gowns and certificates from our Founder and Honorary President, Mr. Bedrettin DALAN, and Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Canan AYKUT BİNGÖL.
