Oğuz Çetin
TTF-Director of Football Development
Oğuz Çetin was born in 1963 in Sapanca, Sakarya. At the age of 9, he moved to Germany with his family. He started playing football in Germany for FC Bobingen. In 1978, he was transferred to Sakaryaspor's youth team. He began his professional career with this club and rose to the captaincy. He won the Turkish Cup with Sakaryaspor. From 1988 to 1996, he played for Fenerbahçe, winning 2 league titles and 1 Presidential Cup, and wore the captain's armband. After playing for Istanbulspor and Adanaspor, he retired from active football. Oğuz Çetin holds the record for the second-highest number of league appearances with 503 matches.
He first wore the Turkish national team jersey in 1980 for the U18 National Team. Çetin played 70 times for the A National Team and served as captain in 33 matches. He participated in the 1996 European Championship. He began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Fenerbahçe. He later took charge of the yellow-navy team. After working with Kayserispor, Gençlerbirliği, and Diyarbakırspor, he served as the Assistant Manager of the A National Football Team between 2005 and 2012. He achieved third place in Europe with the National Team in the 2008 European Championship. In 2010, he led the A National Team in 4 matches. From 2012 to 2017, Çetin coached Azerbaijan's Khazar Lankaran team and Boluspor and Gaziantep BB. He returned to TFF in 2019 as the Coordinator of Young National Teams and FGD. Oğuz Çetin later became the Director of Football Development.
Having graduated from İTÜ Sakarya Architecture - Engineering Faculty's Department of Civil Engineering, Çetin is married and a father of two children.
Aslı Aksel
TTF-Sports Physiotherapist & Dietitian
Aslı Aksel continued her studies as a Sports Physiotherapist after graduating with high honors from the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department of Yeditepe University. She also graduated with high honors from Yeditepe University's Nutrition and Dietetics department as her second degree and continues her work as a Dietitian. Between 2017-2018, she served as a Sports Physiotherapist in the performance development and treatment of athletes from the U17 Football National Team, Basketball National Team, Marmara and Yeditepe University Korfball Teams, and ES Volleyball Club A and Youth Teams.
In 2018, she served as a sports physiotherapist for the Marmara University Korfball team at the International Korfball Federation "Europa Shield" tournament in Portugal. In 2018, she served as an instructor at the Everyone for Sports Federation 1st Level Coaching Course. Between 2018-2019, she worked as a sports physiotherapist at the Athlete Health and Performance Center in various orthopedic and sports injury areas. As of April 2019, she worked as a founding physiotherapist within LIFEON CONCEPT. Since 2018, she has continued to serve as a sports physiotherapist & dietitian for the Turkish Football Federation Women's National Teams. Since 2020, she has continued her work as a Coach Trainer in the Turkish Football Federation Coach Education Programs. As of 2022, she continues her work as a Founding Physiotherapist & Dietitian at Asli Aksel Physiotherapy and Nutrition Consultancy Center.
Zeki Çetin
BJK Sports Physiotherapist
Zeki Çetin completed his undergraduate education, which he started in 2008 in the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department of Yeditepe University, in 2013. During his undergraduate education, he volunteered and completed mandatory internships at leading physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinics in Turkey.
Immediately after graduation, he worked for 6 months at a private hospital in Eskişehir. Since January 2014, he has been serving as a physiotherapist for the Beşiktaş JK Football A-Team.
After an extensive evaluation of musculoskeletal system problems, which he determined as his area of work, he successfully completed the "IKOMT Neuro Musculoskeletal Therapy Practitioner" education, which is an educational concept that offers lifestyle changes, manual therapy, and exercise as treatment options for the identified problem, and the advanced level of this education, "IKOMT ADVANCED", and earned the right to be a practitioner of this concept. He adopts multidisciplinary work as his business principle. Due to his duty, he shares information about the diagnosis, treatment, and return-to-field processes of orthopedic and sports injuries with many doctors, physiotherapists, and trainers from home and abroad and follows current methods.
He continues his clinical work outside of Beşiktaş Football Club at Healplus Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, a clinic he founded.
