Bosphorus Trio was founded in 2016 by three young and hardworking artists who came together with their ideals to bring a new breath to the piano trio repertoire, violinist Özgecan Günöz, pianist and composer Özgür Ünaldı and cellist Çağlayan Çetin, who managed to combine their professional careers with a strong amateur spirit. One of the group members, Özgecan Günöz, is the principal violinist of the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra and also a member of the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra.
