“The Big Short” is an informative and compelling story that recounts the events leading up to the 2008 global financial crisis through the eyes of a handful of extraordinary investors who foresaw the situation. It is a story that everyone should understand, one that unravels the complex language of the financial world with humor and creativity.

Yeditepe University IEEE student group strengthened its ties with the industry by conducting its first technical visit of the year to NOKIA. During the visit, students were provided with comprehensive information about the company's technological infrastructure, current R&D activities, and future communication solutions.

The IEEE and the Leadership and Entrepreneurship Club organized a company visit to Unilever on Thursday, November 27, as part of the first company visit of the semester. This visit provided participants interested in learning about sustainability, innovation, and brands that make a global impact with a comprehensive learning experience. Students had the opportunity to examine the operational structure, corporate culture, and strategic approaches for the future of an international company firsthand.

Zeynep Dönmez Canseven, a graduate of Yeditepe University Faculty of Law, created valuable awareness by sharing her international experiences gained during her education and career journey in Turkey and Germany with our students.

Our graduate, who works as Counsel Legal and Compliance at Daikin Chemical Europe GmbH, shared her expertise in the fields of Information Technology Law, Intellectual Property Law, and legal compliance processes in international companies.

As the Yeditepe University Music Club, we held a DJ Workshop with DJ K-Billy (Onur Kaymak).

DJ K-Billy, one of Turkey's most listened-to radio hosts and an experienced figure in the electronic music scene, has performed in many countries including the USA, Germany, Austria, France, Ukraine, the Netherlands, Montenegro, and Greece, as well as at international events such as the EXIT Festival and ADE. It was an event where he shared his experiences with the participants.

The YUDSA Talks series started with an impressive session, highlighting digital transformation in dentistry.

The 2025 İZ Career Fair was successfully completed on November 26–27 with the participation of 1,000 students.

In collaboration with Akbank Sanat, participants in the sculpture workshop organized by the Yeditepe Culture and Events Club and the Women in Business Club had the opportunity to learn the basic steps of sculpture making and create their own works. All students who wanted to witness the artistic production process up close and gain hands-on experience came together in our workshop.

Rauf Tacettin Holdur, who has worked in various company structures in the electromechanical industry, has taken on responsibilities in the areas of design, sales, and project management, and currently works as Sales Team Leader at Sönmez Trafo, joined us.

He shared his experiences with us regarding his professional knowledge in the electromechanical sector, focusing on the transformer market, and what to be prepared for in professional life.
