MISSION:
The Science Fiction Club is to encourage creativity, imagination and critical thinking among club members by organising discussions, workshops, screenings and other related activities to develop students interested in the field, their understanding of Science Fiction and its themes, and to foster a passionate community of Science Fiction Fans.
VISION:
The Science Fiction Club adopts as its vision to develop a community that enables students to showcase their creativity by writing or reading fiction, playing games, organising film screenings, attending conferences and hosting events to explore and participate in relevant discussions.
PURPOSE:
Yeditepe University Science Fiction Club was established in 2004 by the students of our university. The aim of the club is to bring together students who are interested in science fiction elements as well as subculture elements such as FRP, board games, card games, fantastic literature, cinema, comics, manga and anime, and to ensure that they mingle within our university.
